Digest magazine, and living the Bohemian life as an
artist working in a severely dilapidated, Gothic-
styled Victorian in the 90's, Catriana's diverse
lifestyle and travels have greatly inspired the
emotion behind her art, designs and renovations.
Immersed in passion, the allure and preservation of
Spanish Colonials & Missions, Medieval-inspired
Gothics, and ancient desert architecture designed
amidst international elements, tapestries, and opulent
brocades consumes her―inspiration she further
utilizes to create the rich, organic textures and vivid,
rhythmic colours of her art.
Her way of life is her style. But more than that it is
her early history, with a private past spent living
residing and entranced by a sensational vortex and the many secrets of
Roxborough Park―two enchanted areas of which intriguingly promote her
style… Desert living, coloured by spiritual transcendence, interweaves
throughout her artistry, creating not only an ambient balance, but a passionate
diversity―fused together by its exotic, radiant energy. She summons such to
create limitlessly and vicariously, enriching her work with the profuse
intimacy of materials, incorporating both ancient and modern techniques.
Elusive and fiercely independent - embracing solitude - Catriana has never felt
the need to chase anything. Her deep-rooted passions, life-long commitment
to the well-being of animals, individuals and that of our earth, joined by the
devotion to the nurturing of internal Spirit - breathing radiance - is what gives
life and sustenance to her work, instead. Her outspoken, recalcitrant, yet
down-to-earth nature, combined with a 20-year organic lifestyle, further
serves to transform her art. Her own music, cultural studies, brick & mortar
companies, and professional background in many design-related fields
(interior design; fashion merchandising; hair design), additionally lend
elemental, artistic importance, ever-evolving from eclecticism to exquisiteness.

finishing her book on the essence of living and is founder of
